Description

The Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park straddles the Highland Boundary Fault Line and consequently has a magnificent array of rugged mountains, many rising to over 3,000 feet above sea level.

However, the park is also home to numerous lower peaks, which still offer a challenge but are within reach of the general walker. The views are just as astounding as those from their bigger cousins.

These easier summits provide a good introduction for those less experienced (including children) to the wonderful pursuit of hillwalking.

Featured walks include: Cruach Tairbeirt, Beinn Dubh & Mid Hill, Duncryne, Conic Hill, Craigmore, Lime Craig, Ben Gullipen, Ben A’an, Callander Craig and Beinn an t-Sidhein.

What they say …

“These beautifully illustrated guides provide walkers (armchair or active) with a well produced resource containing additional information to make further research unnecessary. Well done Northern Eye Books”
