The long wait for the best of the best Peak District walks is finally over. There are now two new additions to the already popular Top 10 Walks series for the Peak District, from independent publishers, Northern Eye Books.

Pub Walks and Waterside Walks, both by outdoors expert and well-known author, Dennis Kelsall, are both due from the printers at the end of July 2015. Both of pocket-size books feature the best ten walks in the Peak District for a particular theme: Pub Walks explores the ‘Ten best walks to pubs in the Peak District’, while Waterside Walks takes you to ‘Classic waterside walks in the Peak District’. Both books contain 64 packed pages, with generous modern photography, OS mapping and detailed route directions, and have a RRP of just £5.99.

Top 10 Walks: Peak District: Pub Walks includes short, circular walks to the most popular Peaks’ pubs. Walkers and reviewers alike seem to appreciate the Top 10 Walks: Peak District series.  As Anthony Toole says in Outdoor Focus magazine:

“These may be humble walking guidebooks, but in the quality of their writing, photography and general production, they can justifiably claim to be miniature artworks. They set a standard to which other guidebooks might hope to aspire.”

High praise indeed.
